Refund and Cancellation Policy

We want billing to follow finished audio—not leave you paying for a render that failed.

Effective and last updated: July 25, 2026

Memberships

You may cancel a membership at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Unused production time expires immediately when the membership ends. Monthly and annual charges are generally non-refundable after a billing period begins, except where law requires otherwise or a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred.

Prepaid overage blocks

Active members may request a refund for a wholly unused prepaid overage block within 14 days of purchase. Once any time from the account balance has been consumed after that purchase, the overage block is generally non-refundable except where required by law. Unused overage time rolls over while the membership remains active and expires when it ends.

Failed renders and billing errors

A failed audio render should not permanently consume the reserved minutes for that render. We may restore minutes or provide an equivalent account adjustment after verifying a failure. For duplicate charges, incorrect plan grants, or other billing errors, contact us promptly so we can investigate and correct the account.

How to request help

Email support@makethisapodcast.com with the account email, purchase date, and reason for the request. Do not send full payment-card details. Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method; bank processing time may vary.
