Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Notice, and our Responsible AI and Voice Consent Policy. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you can bind it.
The service and AI output
The service converts topics and source material into AI-assisted scripts and audio. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or similar to content generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing facts, citations, pronunciation, permissions, disclosures, and suitability before publishing or relying on an output. The service is not professional medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and notify us promptly about suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not sell, share, or automate access in a way that bypasses plan, rate, or entitlement limits.
Your content and permission to process it
You retain your rights in material you submit and in outputs to the extent the law recognizes those rights. You grant us and our service providers a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transform, transmit, and process your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have all rights, consents, releases, and lawful bases required for the material, names, likenesses, and voices you submit.
Voice cloning and synthetic media
You may clone or synthesize only your own voice or a voice for which you have documented, express permission covering the intended use. You may not impersonate another person, deceive listeners about identity, clone a minor’s voice, or use synthetic audio for fraud, harassment, political deception, unauthorized endorsements, robocalls, or evasion of disclosure duties. We may request proof of consent or suspend voice features. Additional rules appear in our Responsible AI and Voice Consent Policy.
Payments, memberships, and minutes
Prices, renewal intervals, taxes, and included finished minutes are shown before purchase. Stripe hosts checkout. Monthly memberships receive their included time each paid month; annual memberships are charged for the full year and receive the full annual time grant up front. Unused time rolls over without limit while the membership remains active and expires immediately when it ends. Active members may buy prepaid, tier-priced overage blocks. Minute balances are service entitlements, not cash, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for money. We may correct improperly deducted minutes after a failed render. The Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law; violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or data-protection rights; create scams, phishing, malware, deceptive impersonation, non-consensual intimate material, sexual content involving minors, threats, targeted harassment, or instructions that facilitate serious harm; evade technical safeguards; scrape or overload the service; or train a competing model without written permission.
Our intellectual property
The service, brand, interface, software, templates, and documentation are owned by Make This A Podcast or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service; they do not transfer our intellectual property.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, providers, or the service; investigate suspected abuse; comply with law; or address nonpayment or material breach. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Make This A Podcast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and may be communicated through the service. Before filing a claim, please email support@makethisapodcast.com so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by applicable United States law, without overriding mandatory consumer protections where you live.
